We are seeking a passionate and committed instructional leader to join our team as Head of Department - Vocational Education and Training, known within the school as Head of Department - Transitions and Pathways (VET and Years 9 & 10).
This pivotal role focuses on leading the development and delivery of high-quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and creating meaningful opportunities for students on vocational pathways in Years 9 to 12.
The successful applicant will also support students through the transition from junior secondary to senior schooling.

About The Role
As the Head of Department - VET, you will lead the development and implementation of programs and systems related to Vocational Education and Pathways for all students.
The focus will be on student outcomes and engagement in Years 9 and 10, including opportunities for work experience, apprenticeships, and traineeships, leveraging partnerships through the Industry Liaison Officer.
You will collaborate with other Heads of Department to ensure seamless transitions for students from Year 7 through senior years.
Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leading the department to develop a shared educational vision focused on quality outcomes.
Embedding socially just practices in daily school life.
Setting high standards for students and staff performance.
