At The Hive ELC Geelong, we aim to provide high-quality CARE for children from 6 weeks to school age, including a dedicated 3&4-year-old kindergarten program.

The Hive Early Learning Centre Geelong is part of the i9 Education family. i9 Education was founded with a vision to create childcare facilities that extend and enhance the nurturing environment of a child's home. Our childcare philosophy is carefully designed and built from the ground up to provide exceptional care. Our dedicated and highly experienced educators work diligently to provide the highest standard of early childhood education, preparing children for school and helping them grow into positive, productive members of their community. This is an on-floor role that includes dedicated weekly hours as an Educational Leader to support and mentor the team. We are seeking someone available to work five days a week.

**Qualification: **
- Must hold an approved ECEC qualification (Diploma in early chi8ldhood education)
- Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma (support can be provided to obtain this)
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework
- KindyHub knowledge an advantage
- Experience and confidence with written documentation and planning in relation to children's learning and development

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guide the planning and implementation of a holistic educational program for children aged birth to six years
- Guide and mentor educators to foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, while leading the development and implementation of effective teaching programs and practices.
- Work in high-quality, well-resourced environments where you lead programming and collaborate on resourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with other educational leaders through workshops and meetings to share best practices and learn from each other
- Support Educators in ensuring active engagement of every child in the educational program.
- Establish clear goals and expectations for teaching practices in partnership with all Educators.
- Contribute to the creation, implementation, and review of the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Passionate for developing positive learning outcomes for children

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
