About the RoleWe are looking for our next Area Manager to lead the branch network across the region of Gippsland in Victoria.This full-time, permanent position would suit a dynamic and experienced sales leader with a strong commercial agribusiness understanding who values innovation and developing people.As an Elders Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated and passionate team, sales performance, and driving growth and efficiency outcomes within the area.
This is a very diverse senior management role where you will be entrusted to manage all aspects of area operations.
Your strong leadership skills will allow you to support sales staff and empower them to grow with the backing of an experienced network.The successful candidate can be based out of any location within this region; regular travel will be required across the branch network.ResponsibilitiesAs an Area Manager, you will be responsible for:Lead and support Branch Managers to deliver on business priorities and elevate team performanceBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients to provide personalised recommendations that strengthen the growth of their businessesCommunicating clear direction, strategy, goals and expectations, developing an inclusive, positive team cultureContributing to & implementing Elders operational plans within the State and Area to guide & ensure delivery of the overall business strategyCultivating new sales opportunities to strengthen Elders' presenceActively participating in strategy and planning for the area and statePrioritising the safety of your staff and clients, and actively contributing to Elders' zero-harm cultureAbout YouTo excel at Elders, you:Are an experienced leader with in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry (minimum 10 years' experience), including product and sales managementCan effectively lead and motivate a team made up of diverse individuals, driving the achievement of annual sales and earnings targetsThrive in a collaborative and agile working environmentAre resourceful, forward-thinking and passionate about creating meaningful change for clients and communitiesUnderstand that people are our most important assetHave a proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and cultivate lasting client relationshipsPossess strong operational, sales, and people management skills along with effective negotiation abilitiesAbout EldersElders is proud to be an Australian-listed major agribusiness and the most trusted agribusiness brand in Australia.
