**About this role**

Arup's Infrastructure Group in Western Australia is seeking a full-time Commercial Analyst to join the team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Analyst will focus mainly on the commercial/financial health of the Group's major infrastructure projects, including but not limited to joint venture and alliance projects.

The successful applicant also serves a key role in driving commercial improvements, and will be called upon to evaluate, assess and promote commercial behaviours which are conducive to the successful and profitable delivery of our projects in accordance with our contractual obligations and provide commercial support to Project Director's and Project Manager's through bid and project delivery.

**What will I do?**
- Assist with Alliance and Joint Venture commercial management procedures, including financial reporting setup and ongoing reporting and management.
- Support Project Managers in setting up and implementing project-specific commercial control processes, such as dashboards, forecasts, and change management plans.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to interpret results and provide forward-looking information for decision-making.
- Provide financial support and commentary on variance and trend analysis.
- Drive the development and implementation of financial systems, reporting dashboards, and commercial policies/processes.

**What will I bring?**
- Relevant experience in project financial reporting and management
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cost tracking, and change management
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI
