**Kitchen hand/Kitchen Attendant**

We seek a Kitchen hand/ Kitchen Attendant to join our fun and supportive team.

Our function venue delivers a variety of hospitality and conferencing services to a wide range of clients including not for profits, internal customers, corporate clients, sporting organisations, social events, and weddings.

**Location**

The Views is located on the beach in Port Melbourne within the Life Saving Victoria State Centre and.

The Views is a stylish, yet relaxed venue that is perfect for weddings, conferences, corporate and personal functions. The flexible venue can cater for small groups and can extend into three separate rooms creating space for up to 200 people seated and 350 standing.

**The** **role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work across both our Café and function centre providing exceptional support to our kitchen team.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting with preparation of meals
- Cleaning dishes
- Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen
- Disposal of general waste

The successful applicant will have previous kitchen attendant/kitchen hand experience in a similar fast paced café or restaurant environment, with a thorough understanding of health and safety procedures.

Events at our venues are varied and held primarily during the day and some nights, on weekdays and weekends. We are looking for staff who are flexible about their availability as hours will vary pending function bookings. However, as majority of our customers are corporate clients our main hours of work/service are business hours.
