Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.Reporting to the Residential Manager at St Catherine's Aged Care, you will be providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.About The RoleEnsuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and proceduresProviding leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomesWorking in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standardsWorking as 2nd in charge to the Residential ManagerTo be successful in this role you'll needA kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyCurrent AHPRA Registration as a Registered NurseThorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality StandardsDemonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processesComprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issuesDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safetyPrevious experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar roleStrong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence othersStrong customer centric approach to businessAble to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamCompetent IT skills including full Microsoft suiteWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearanceWhat We Can Offer YouCompetitive hourly pay rateNot-for-profit tax benefitsFitness Passport gym benefitPaid parental leaveLong service leave after 5 yearsAdditional week of leave for Enterprise Agreement shift workers40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you decide to moveA values based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.Apply online now
