Business Analyst - Trading, AVP, Charles River DevelopmentWho we are looking forMulti-asset class order and execution management expert / business analyst to work within our product team and bring industry best practices in trading workflows and lifecycle management.
This role involves understanding complex financial instruments, analyzing current systems, and designing components for future solutions.Why this job is important to usThe team you will be joining is part of Charles River Development (CRD), which became a part of State Street in 2018.
CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in areas such as institutional investment, wealth management, and hedge funds.
Together, we launched the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha - in 2019.Join us if delivering next-generation infrastructure using emerging technologies excites you.As a Trading Business Analyst, you will have:Expertise in execution workflows across Asia Pacific markets in asset classes such as Equity, Listed Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX.Front-to-back experience, from trade capture to execution and lifecycle events.Business & system analysis and maintenance experience, including:- Triage support issues, identifying bugs or system enhancements- Design solutions for the development team- Collaborate with developers to elicit, understand, and document system requirements- Work closely with developers to provide business insights- Design, document, and execute solutions addressing business problems, in partnership with product managers for new product launchesWhat you are responsible forApplying detailed knowledge of business requirements and workflows to assist in product developmentResearching and producing business and technical requirement documentsGathering product requirements and developing feature specifications with customers and product managementPartnering with development teams to develop, implement, and refine featuresPlanning and scheduling validation tasks, conducting manual tests, and developing verification plansProviding feedback on product performanceReviewing documentation for accuracy and completenessSupporting client beta testing and training personnel on new product featuresManaging project schedules and deliverablesSupporting implementation and resolving escalated client issuesParticipating in Agile processes, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectivesParticipating in group testing activities as neededWhat we valueStrong analytical skills for quick, independent information analysisExcellent communication skills at an executive levelStrong interpersonal skills for collaboration across all organizational levelsHigh motivation, initiative, and ability to work independentlyProven ability to develop and manage cross-functional processes and timelinesAttention to detail, follow-through, and time management skillsAbility to develop recommendations and make decisions based on dataEducation:BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Business with an MIS background.
