Lead Construction Specialist
The role of a Lead Construction Specialist involves overseeing the daily delivery of high-quality and on-time construction projects. This includes ensuring that projects are completed to documented drawings, specifications, and nominated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage head contracts and subcontracts effectively
Negotiate subcontracts within budget constraints
Act as team leader throughout tender processes and project delivery
Develop methodologies for winning tenders
Design comprehensive project programs and communicate these to the team
Identify and manage construction risks through all projects, escalating issues when necessary
Manage project expenditure and cash flow efficiently
Develop thorough project completion plans
Manage defect identification and rectification processes
Provide guidance and coaching to project team members
