We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our service industry-based client as a
**Accounts Receivable & Administration Assistant.**
Working with the finance team and supporting the business the successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient debt recovery processes. If you have a passion for administrative tasks, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity may be perfect for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, and file management.
- Contact clients and debtors to negotiate payment arrangements and manage collections processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities.
- Reconciliation of payment and invoices
- Resolve client inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate collections efforts and provide updates on client accounts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in debt recovery.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to collections performance.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in administration and collections
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to debt recovery is advantageous.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with Xero or Simpro highly regarded but not required
