**Disability Support Worker**

**Duties and responsibilities may include**:

- Social support/transportation: Community participation, social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting clients with light domestic and personal assistance
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
- Knowledge and experience with epilepsy desirable
- Behaviour Support Plan implementation

**Desirable (but not essential)**:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services
- Experience with epilepsy

Must have:

- Current CPR / First Aid
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening check
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (Comprehensive insurance preferred). Reimbursement for car usage applied.
- Smartphone with internet access
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
- positive attitude
- Unrestricted availability

Pay: $41.00 - $92.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
