Everything we do is dedicated to enabling, celebrating and supporting older Australians to live and age positively.Located in Caboolture at Bolton Clarke's Residential Aged Care Home, Fernhill.We are looking for Bus Driver on a Perm Part time basis weekdays only at this stage.The RolePutting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the busFolding and unfolding mobility aidsStaying with residents to allow staff to attend to other's needsEngaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in the outingAiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussedDeliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customersDrive in accordance with road and safety requirements maintaining due care at all timesOur successful driver will possess the following:LR class licence for driving buses of 22 passenger capacity or lessPrevious experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)Seasonal Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)Complete a police checkWe provide a work culture that values you and invests in your careerGenerous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits – claim up to $15,900 tax free plus additional $2650 in entertainment per yearAn Employee Assistance Program for staff and familyCareer progression and development opportunitiesRange of discounts (300+)Apply NowOur application process takes less than 10 minutes.
