Barista/Café Allrounder

Wattaka Cafe
Ungooroo's Wattaka Café is seeking an experienced Barista
to join the growing café team.
This role is being offered on a Casual basis with a view to permanent part-time.
Although this position is not an identified role, we encourage Aboriginal people to apply.
Barista Responsibilities
- To assist and support the Café Supervisor in the

smooth operations of the café & its catering
services
- Provide Barista & Counter services
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the dayto-day front of house coffee operations
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, along

with pastries and cookies
- To promote and upsell Wattaka catering services
- Provide support to the team in the preparation of

external catering orders
- Maintain stock inventories
- Maintain and improve the appearance of the store

and coffee bar
- Inspect the barista area for neatness & cleanliness
- To greet customers warmly and take their orders

politely and respectfully
- Receive and process customer payments
- Attend team meetings when requested
- Work cooperatively with supported employees to

achieve quality products and services in the
Wattaka Café

Education, Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years' experience as a Barista
- Possess an Accredited or Unaccredited Barista

Certificate or recognition
- An understanding of food safety and stock rotation

Children Check and a Criminal History Check
- Current Drivers Licence
