**Work as an administration assistant/receptionist for a local council,**

**Pay rate: $32.28 per hour, 38 hours per week.**

**Term**:Fulltime hours working as a casual

**About the role**

This position assists in the development and maintenance of the facilities and resources managed by the Parks, Buildings and Environment Department to the highest possible standard. A clear commitment to high level maintenance with an eye for detail is essential.

**Successful applicants will have**:
A current drivers license.

AGVET Chemical Users Certificate is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to work a team environment and positively contribute to the team.

Demonstrated industry experience relevant to municipal horticulture.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Horticultural Trade Certificate or equivalent training and qualifications.

Traffic Control Roadwork Signage and Safety Certificate or ability to obtain.

Understanding of the relevant Acts, Regulations, Local Laws, Government and Council Policies applicable to Certified Gardeners.

Must be vaccinated in line with the state governments COVID-19 mandate.

Must be able to obtain/provide a valid Police Check and working with childrens check upon successful placement.
