Configuration Management Controller

As part of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems business, our Protected Vehicles team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We have an excellent opportunity to join us as a Configuration Management Controller to join our Protective Vehicles business, working with highly dedicated and passionate teams. The Configuration Management Controller is responsible to register and release configuration information as individual contributors for a related perimeter (Engineering, Industry & Deployment, Customer Service etc.). The Configuration Management Controller ensure the integrity, traceability and history of the configuration records and they are advanced users of the PLM systems.

This is a hybrid role with a combination of working on-site at Bendigo and from home.

**About the role**:
As a Configuration Management Controller within Thales, you will:

- Be responsible for the registration and release of data managed in configuration.
- Verify the integrity, validity and maintenance of records relating to the data, including traceability and history over the entire life cycle Take in charge the verification of the completeness of technical and non-technical data (whether internally and externally).
- Ensure the provision of up-to-date data to the relevant functions and archive any obsolete data where required.
- Record configuration baselines and provide status on identified gaps or omissions.
- Translate the decisions of the Configuration Manager into the tool as required.
- Be a configuration management tool (PLM) expert and provide support to the project/product team.
- Be a team player: you are willing to help and establish strong relationships with the rest of the team.
- Be methodical, meticulous and proactive with a keen eye for details and advanced organisational skills.
