Senior or Principal Occupational Hygiene / Hazmat ConsultantAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleENV Solutions is seeking aThis position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an expanding office, own client relationships, lead meaningful and diverse projects, and help guide junior staff while developing your own leadership and technical capabilities.Enjoy the benefits of a coastal lifestyle with convenient access to city infrastructure, all while making a tangible impact through your work.The role services projects with a mix of field and desktop-based work, including:Manage and develop client relationshipsCompleting occupational hygiene assessments and undertaking a variety of sampling, monitoring, analytical analysis and reporting activitiesProducing technical reports detailing investigations, risk assessments and solutions for clientsPerforming lab analysis (fibre counting) at our in-house NATA laboratory and producing reports, to NATA specificationWorking with clients to recognise, evaluate and control occupational health hazards to protect workers and improve their workplace.Our Ideal CandidateBachelor-level tertiary qualification in science, engineering, health and safety or occupational hygiene.3+ years' of occupational hygiene industry experience, preferably in a consulting environment.Current Driver Licence (without restriction) and ability to drive manual vehicle.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Maintain quality records, reports and compliance documentation including use of a computerised maintenance management systems.Work in a team environment and follow standard policies and procedures with minimal supervision.Has the capacity for occasional travel between ENV offices, as required.Highly Desirable SkillsAlthough not essential, the below would be valuable in your role with ENV:Construction Induction Training (White Card).
Experience in fibre-counting analysis and reporting, to NATA standards.Eligibility for provisional or full membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH).
