**Role Description/Criteria**

Holy Trinity Catholic Primary School is seeking a dynamic Religious Education Leader who shares a commitment to nurturing life-long learners and fostering a strong, respectful and inclusive faith school community that is welcoming to all. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to impact the educational needs of our community by developing curriculum, managing change and supporting students and teachers to grow as a successful community of learners.

It is expected that the successful applicant will be:

- committed to the values and ethos of our Catholic faith
- highly motivated, committed, positive, friendly and enthusiastic
- passionate and innovative about learning and teaching
- have a sound knowledge of current best practice and the Victorian Curriculum
- have the capacity to make adjustments for a diverse range of learning needs
- able to work as part of teams of various sizes
- self-motivated and able to work independently if necessary
- able to build maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents and children
- committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- prepared to be active in our school community and involved in extra-curricular school activities

**Special Requirements**

The successful applicant should:

- have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is desirable
- be committed to child safety, to maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices
- have read and be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct
- hold a current VIT registration
