Play an important part in the course reconstruction of Pennant Hills Private Golf Club, led by the esteemed Gary Player Design group.

The exhilarating par 71 eighteen-hole championship experience at Pennant Hills Golf Club situated, within a lush forest of blue gum, blackbutt, and turpentine trees is about to undergo a significant rebuild. This is your chance to join the team at this very exciting time as we transform our course over the next 3 years.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Your role will involve turf maintenance for greens, tees, bunkers, fairways, roughs, and other landscaping needs. Your advance knowledge of turf conditions (disease, weeds, insects) will ensure safe and effective use of fertilisers, insecticides, and pesticides. Your keen eye for detail, strong work ethic and passion for golf will fit well with our existing team.

**Role Requirements**:

- Specialised knowledge of turf management practices and disease identification, including types of grasses and pest prevention and control methods and techniques
- Knowledge of insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilisers
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in developing and maintaining the course
- Identification of hazards, inspection and minor maintenance of equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Strong time management
- Flexibility to work frequent weekend shifts forming part of ordinary hours, is required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Cert III in Sports Turf Management (or horticulture qualification)
- Golf course grounds experience preferred
- Spraying License preferred and/or experience in Irrigation maintenance
- Valid Class C driver's license.

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
