Advanced Buildings are an established construction and restoration business with offices Nationally in VIC, NSW, the ACT and QLD. We are one of Australia's most trusted and experienced Insurance Building and Repair providers and we specialise in Insurance Repair and Strata work involving large and technical projects. We have long established relationships with Australia's major Insurance Companies and Loss Adjusters.

We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join the Queensland, Gold Coast Team. Reporting to the Divisional Manager this role will be responsible for attending sites and producing cost estimates with the objective of securing work.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Produce detailed scopes of work and cost estimates
- Provide detailed reporting as required
- Control and manage a portfolio of tender responses
- Coordinate site meetings with subcontractors to facilitate the costing process
- Ensure timely completion of estimates and tenders
- Maintain records in the database
- Develop and maintain relationship with clients, customers and subcontractors

**As the ideal applicant you will possess**:

- Prior experience in a trades-based role or insurance building
- Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Building Codes
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen
- Well-developed relationship management and communication skills
- Competent PC and Microsoft Suite skills
