**Job Purpose**:

- The CDM is responsible for planning and implementing sales and business plans for our 2nd largest 'Omni' Key Customer, i.e. achieve agreed sales volume, space, assortment and promotional and goals.
- The CDM will manage Petstock Omni including Petstock Retail ,Petstock Vet & Petstock online.
- Develop Petstock Customer as a strategic future Omni partner for Hill's and trading terms. Develop Hill's strategic partners moving to clinic integration in Petstock stores.
- The CDM will manage customer plans, joint business plans and promo plans for Pet, Vet and on-line.
- Deliver deep customer engagement and 6P execution with excellence.
- Lead with best practice key account management.
- High interaction with the commercial team throughout the sales planning processes.
- Work with Petstock Direct to ensure strong service levels and communicate the plan.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develops and implements agreed annual business plans for Tier 1 customers. Deliver sales volume & net sales objectives for each customer. Space/visibility within designated accounts of Hill's existing products. Rapid acceptance and distribution of new products. Increased distribution on existing product lines. Work with customer and commercial teams to deliver JPB category initiatives.
- Develop business plans to align with Petstock in both pet retail, vet clinics and on-line. Leverage business analytics to improve fact based discussions (ROI).
- Develops and implements agreed promotion plans which respond competitively to the needs of the customer and which are consistent with overall sales and marketing plans. Monitors competitor activity in each account. Action appropriate response, formulate and implement where necessary, and that all relevant competitor information is disseminated. Monitors the achievement of sales objectives with each major account and identifies and proposes plans for exploiting business development activities and implements plans for remedial action where necessary. Maintains close contact with the key decision makers in each account to allow the development and maintenance of excellent relationships between the Company and customers.
- Work with Pestock Direct to ensure high service levels, product changes, and Omni promotional communication. Drives integrated commercial planning for customer development team. Brief all functions involved in the delivery of agreed customer support of business development activities in an accurate and timely manner. Work closely with retail marketing to deliver & execute category projects.
- Prepare commercial plans and ROI in the planning process. Allocate commercial investment for customers into 6P activities aligned with the RE/Brand strategies. Develop action plans to close gaps for major customers and seek relevant approval via Commercial Process. Improve forecasting using new systems with CS&L. Better commercial alignment with customer needs and timelines. Strong collaboration with the commercial team to ensure internal alignment with plans and progress. Work closely with Associate Director Customer
- Development and feedback business and competitive challenges. Coach and develop CDE for Pet Omni with best practice key account management. High collaboration with the commercial team and contributing to improving the commercial processes. Prompt management of all KA related administration (including claims/invoice processing).
- Work closely with eCommerce Marketing team to develop the Petstock on-line business implementing the eCommerce fundamentals and on-line activations. Deliver sales volume, net sales and market share objectives for Petstock on-line for both Science Diet and Prescription Diet brands. Ensure delivery of key e-Commerce sales fundamental targets; e.g. content standards, optimizing search relevance, NPD speed to market, share of advocacy.
