The Creche and Kindergarten Association Limited (C&K) is a not-for-profit early childhood provider with nearly 350 early childhood education and care services located across Queensland. C&K acknowledges that each child and family have unique early education and care requirements and so we provide a range of different programs including childcare, kindergarten, outside school hours' care and integrated services.

**About the opportunity**

At C&K Banyo Station Childcare Centre we are currently seeking a qualified Group Leader to join our team in the float position. The successful educator will pride themselves on their mentoring ability and have a passion for working closely with educators within the learning environment. We are looking for someone with exceptional relationships with families and children, and who is dedicated to furthering their own learning as an early childhood professional.

C&K Banyo Station embraces _Listening and Learning Together: C&K Curriculum Approach_ which is a play-based, emergent and co-constructed curriculum giving emphasis to encouraging children to express and transform their ideas and understandings in play and the many languages of children. Children are encouraged to represent their own world in order to learn about and understand their world. In the process of representation, as they actively play and interact with others, engage with a rich variety of materials and ideas, children's language and social abilities are fostered.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 of hours per week. We are looking for an educator who can be flexible, and work shifts between the hours of 6:30am - 6.30pm on rotating roasters.

**About you**

An experienced early childhood Educator, you will be energetic, fun, passionate and committed to supporting and guiding children's learning and development. You will have the following:

- Diploma qualification in early childhood (qualification must be recognised by ACECQA); or enrolled and actively working towards
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Hold or willing to obtain a paid Blue Card
- Previous experience working with children
- Passion for creating and delivering a simulating learning environment
- An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
- Skilled with documenting observations of children's behaviour and development, in the form of learning stories
- An ability to implement a planned program, in collaboration with the Assistant Educator, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
