About the Role
Lead the project management of Men's Health Strategy implementation including methodology, research, timelines, and outcomes. The position will work within the scope provided by the Social Health Manager to provide consistent oversight and framework to all Health and wellbeing Projects, with a focus on men's health. The role will lead the framework, KPI formation for ongoing funding and reporting, timelines, and communication of health and social health projects. In addition, the role will provide strategic guidance and input into direction and applicability of social health and health service project initiatives across all ATSICHS Brisbane. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to lead the identification and content development of social, emotional, and mental health wellbeing programs that are evidence based and drawn upon client and community needs.
Duties
Working closely with the Social Health Manager, develop a Program Review Framework for use with all group programs to ensure its program effectiveness and intent is being achieved.
Delivery of group-based social, recreational and prevocational activities, with a focus on services that aim to improve the quality of life and psychosocial functioning of mental health consumers.
Facilitate group programs that are engaging, lively and create a trusting and relaxing atmosphere
Ensure assessments are conducting for the purpose of evaluating risks, identifying suitable clients and guiding the dynamics of delivering group programs.
Perform Monthly review of team tasks and contribute statistic for the Social Health Dashboard.

- A medical certificate signed by a medical practitioner stating you have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccination

- Your exemption as listed on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) may be submitted.
Required
Minimum bachelors degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Mental Health Nursing, Human Services, Allied Health or relevant field.
5 years experience in a similar position
Demonstrated ability to facilitate mental health and/or wellbeing programs to a wide target population.
Demonstrated ability to undertake brief mental health assessments for client's suitability in a group program.
A willingness to travel across the ATSICHS Brisbane region of services and work across different sites.
A willingness to provide group programs outside of core business hours.
Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.
Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.
Current National Police Check
