An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and adaptable Social worker to join our team at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre in a part-time capacity.

**As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment, timely intervention and contribute towards the holistic discharge planning of patients within a rehabilitation setting
- Display exceptional time management and a high degree of flexibility
- Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team across both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

As one of the largest private rehabilitation facilities in Australia, The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre has a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or hospital setting desirable
