**About the Role**

The Associate Director role is a crucial senior position essential for driving business growth within our Sydney client base. This role encompasses high-level advisory responsibilities, staff and workflow management, and client relationship management.

**About You**

You will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to lead client engagements. You have a keen interest in helping businesses thrive, enjoy learning new skills, and excel in a dynamic environment. You are highly organised and possess a strong desire to contribute to team success. In this role, your success will depend on your technical knowledge and depth, as you will be a key person in the decision-making process, collaborating with various individuals across different teams as and when required.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director for Business Services & Tax, you will lead an experienced team of accountants to provide advisory solutions to a broad range of clients across different sectors, however a medical focus would benefit the applicant.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, coach and advise a team of accountants
- Provide a high-level business advisory perspective to clients.
- Provide a high-level business compliance to clients.
- Provide oversight to ensure client solutions are robust.
- Assist with the mentoring and development of team members.
- Support the Director for BS&T with clients where required.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (essential)
- CA or CPA (essential)

**Experience required**
- Minimum ten years' experience in professional practice.
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven business development capability
- Advanced knowledge of different accounting software and technologies
- Sound understanding of Accounting Practices and Standards
- Exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and can operate well within a team
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and invest in their own learning
- Consultancy skills (desired)

**Location**

You will be based in our Sydney CBD office.
