FULL TIME 38 HOURS PER WEEK MINIMUM 4 WEEKS ANNUAL LEAVE. Salary Plus Super. $80K PA - $100K PA.
Propix Pty Ltd, trading as Jamberoo Action Park, is looking for an Electrician (General) for our site located in Jamberoo NSW 2533. Jamberoo Action Park is a family-friendly water theme park featuring a range of water slides, wave pools, and attractions including The Funnel Web and The Perfect Storm. It also offers calmer experiences like the Rapid River and a chairlift with views of the Illawarra escarpment.
This role supports the park's maintenance and leadership teams. To be considered, you need a relevant industry qualification and more than 2 years of experience in a similar role. A provisional or full license is required.
Responsibilities
Design, assemble, install, test, commission, diagnose, maintain, repair, and service electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances, and facilities
Service and repair lifts, escalators, and related equipment
Inspect and maintain ride control systems to ensure roller coasters, water slides, and amusement rides operate safely and reliably
Install, service, and test pump and filtration systems critical to water attractions and pools, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
Carry out preventative maintenance on lighting and power systems across the park, including high-traffic public areas, food courts, and entertainment zones
Respond to urgent electrical faults during operating hours, troubleshooting quickly to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety
Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement upgrades, energy efficiency measures, and emergency power systems during peak seasons
Requirements & Experience
Relevant industry qualification
More than 2 years of experience in a similar role
A provisional license or full license
