SESSIONAL LECTURER - INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF HEAT PUMP SYSTEMSThe School of Employability at South Thames College is seeking a trainer/lecturer to teach adults the skills and knowledge required to install and maintain heat pump systems.
The successful candidate will help learners achieve a Level 3 Award qualification from EAL in The Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems.Schedule: Thursdays 5.30-9.30pmApplicants should have professional experience in installing and maintaining heat pump systems and experience training adults in this field.
A teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one is required.
Familiarity with the assessment criteria and learning outcomes for this EAL course is preferred.This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a team delivering green skills courses aimed at upskilling adults in the construction/trades sector, supporting the country's net-zero transition.Closing date for applications: 10th July 2025Benefits include a pension scheme (Teachers Pensions or Local Government Pension Scheme), subsidised sports facilities, professional development opportunities, and a salary sacrifice cycle to work scheme.
