Comprising of the long term existing iconic brands in Spotlight, Anaconda and Harris Scarfe, SRG is acknowledged as market leaders within the Australian retail space.What You'll DoLead and mentor the financial accounting teamDelivery of the month-end reporting for the group, including all balance sheet reconciliations, adjustment journals and variance to forecast analysisManage the external audit and other compliance requirements, including oversight of the preparation of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards and preparation of supporting workpapersPrepare cyclical and ad-hoc financial reports for senior leaders of the businessAssist the Commercial team in the completion of forecastsSupport Commercial and Operations team with financial information and reporting to support decision makingAssist the Financial Controller with cash flow managementSupporting continuous business processes and systems improvementsWhat You'll BringCA or CPA qualified, with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related fieldHands-on manager with demonstrated experience in finance management roles, with the ability to lead and drive outcomes across the organisationProven expertise in accounting standards, integrated IT systems, and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills, experience with SAP is highly desirableTransformational leadership experience with proven success in leading teams through change and process improvement initiativesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable plansWhy Spotlight Retail Group?
