The role in a nutshell

Take ownership of your own BRAND NEW OSHC Service - Shelford Primary School, located in Shelford and lead a team to provide fun and quality program built by the children, for the children.

What to expect

As the Program Coordinator you will design, manage and lead an established program and a fantastic, supportive team, including a permanent part time Assistant who will work each morning and afternoon. You will have access to an existing pool of trained and qualified casual staff for any ratio/last minute shifts, as well as a staffing support team. We value our links with the school and wider community, so your role will allow you to network with the school, foster existing this into your programming. You will plan healthy eating menus and incorporate fun child driven programs based on both the interests and passions of children at your program and the strengths and skills of you and your team.

During the school holidays, split shifts are not required. You will host dynamic incursions and take the children to exciting local attractions (as scheduled by our vacation care team) which include water parks, museum, cinemas and more. Are you ready to be our next Champion of Children?

**As a guide**: Monday to Friday - After School Care only (02:45PM - 6:00PM) plus administration hours to total 18.00 hours per week.

About you

We'd love it if you were Diploma/Degree/Bachelors qualified within relevant discipline as approved by ACEQCA for a Coordinator role, but we're also happy to invest in you to study.
Diploma in Education Support, School Education and Care, Children's Services or Early Childhood Education and Care or Degree in Primary Education, Secondary or Early Childhood Studies or equivalent or Diploma/Degree in Recreation; Sport Science; Social/Youth Work, Applied Science, etc.
First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR and Child Protection Certificate A current Employee Working with Children's Check is a must for this role The ability to pass a National Police Check Valid Working Rights to work in Australia Bring your experience working with and supporting teams to achieve results
