About ACC SingletonAustralian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation.
ACC is part of Christian Education Ministries, with 16 schools in 5 states, and is also the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.ACC Singleton (ACCS) is located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.
Offering programs from Prep to Year 12, ACCS has been operating for over 12 years.
The College has experienced considerable growth in student numbers and improvement in student learning results in recent years.
During 2025 work will commence on a new 18 classroom building that will help accommodate the growth in student numbers from 420 to 600 students over the next 5 years.The College Principal and Board are committed to ACC Singleton being a school that prioritises excellent teaching that is continually improving positive culture and authentic relationships.About The RoleThis part-time (40 hours per fortnight) contractor position is expected to start as soon as possible.
Hourly rate negotiable.Key Details:Job Title: Bus DriverSchedule: Weekdays, split shifts: approx.
6.30am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pmAdditional Opportunities: Occasional work during or after school hours for staff and student excursions and campsResponsibilities:Safely transport students to and from school on designated routesFoster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with our studentsAdhere to the allocated schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient serviceCollaborate with colleagues to coordinate transportation for staff and student excursions and campsMaintain a clean and tidy bus interior, promoting a comfortable and welcoming environment for studentsAdhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the busSafely load and unload students at designated stops, ensuring their well-being and maintaining orderRequirementsQualifications and Skills:A genuine person who enjoys working with childrenValid driver's licence (with at least LR licence but preferably MR licence)Valid NSW Working with Children CheckExcellent driving record and commitment to passenger safetyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliability and punctuality to ensure timely transportationAs a contractor you will need an Australian business number (ABN) and public liability insurance (to be evidenced in the application process).
