Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Training Officer on a contract for 6 months

**About the Role**:
The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following: The consultants will be required to; Conduct a Cybercrime Investigations (cyber dependent) Training Needs Analysis across the Australian Federal Police (AFP), state, and territory police jurisdictions (NSWPF, NTPOL, QPS, SAPOL, VICPOL, WAPOL, and TASPOL) with the minimum consideration of:

- Current and future state of cyber dependant crime
- Mandatory learning materials provided to investigators
- Optional learning materials provided to investigators
- Mandatory face-to-face training provided for investigators
- Optional face-to-face training provided for investigators
- Mandatory online training provided to investigators
- Optional online training provided to investigators

**Desirable**:

- Build understanding of baseline digital literacy requirements across agencies to inform a general investigation digital literacy curriculum.

Evidenced based report articulating the minimum baseline training requirements and/or national curriculum required across all jurisdictions for cyber-dependent crime investigations. At a minimum, this must include analysis and/or recommendations regarding:

- current cyber training landscape for cybercrime investigators
- maturity levels in relation to cybercrime investigator training across jurisdictions
- identified training and skill gaps
- recommended training methods and platforms
- opportunities of shared learning across jurisdictions

Desirable:

- Evidenced based report recommending a national cybercrime training baseline framework that addresses skills gaps and raises the cyber aptitude to the minimum baseline requirements for investigators.
- Recommendations related to a baseline digital literacy requirements across agencies

to create a general investigation digital literacy curriculum.

**Out-of-Scope**:
The following are out-of-scope (could have otherwise been assumed in scope);
- Digital literacy related to unsworn investigators
- Cyber Training analysis outside of Cyber-dependant crime
- Development of a national cybercrime training program
