**The Facility**:
The hospital is a new, state-of-the-art facility with a $77 million investment, featuring 118 beds with the potential to expand to 182 beds as the city's population grows. It operates as a public/private facility and is equipped with eight new operating theatres, accommodating a wide range of surgical procedures, from day surgery to complex surgeries conducted in digital operating suites. The hospital holds a 12-month ACEM (Australasian College for Emergency Medicine) accreditation and is capable of treating specialist and complex cases. The Department is one of the busiest in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
