Pimpama Nanny

Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 12+ months -Permanent long term
- Pay: $35-40 per hour depending on experience

A professional and loving family in Pimpama, QLD are seeking a bubbly, mature and reliable nanny to assist with the household and care for their 2 happy children (12 yr old girl and 9 yr old boy).

**Option to live in (accommodation) if the nanny requires this. Please ask for more details.**

**Monday to Friday**

**Mostly Afternoons Hours of approx 2.30pm-6.30pm however more hours on offer if you prefer a household manager /nanny role.**

**Note: Full Drivers Licence required and own vehicle**

An ideal nanny will have a fun loving and kind personality.

You will need to be energetic, able to work with the children's routines and have organisational skills to manage the busy afternoons with experience supporting children to manage afternoon activities and homework.

Reliability, flexibility and communication skills are also valued.

The role will mostly consist of arriving at the home to complete light household tasks, pick up the children from school, take to activities, engage with, have a break and then work on homework and prepare the evening meal.

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- To supervise the children
- Follow the children's routine
- Pick up from school
- Take to after school activities
- Light household duties - ie - packing/unpacking dishwasher, bench wipe down, sweep, laundry folding
- Meal prep for the family
- Run Errands and Grocery Shop (At Times)
- Assist with homework

**The family's expectations from their nanny are -**
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years nanny or childcare experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children's check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak good english
- Full licence/good driving record (no provisional licences) and own car
- Non smoker/vaper
- Basic cooking skills
- Comfortable with animals ( The family have 1 dog and 2 chickens)
- Confidence around water
