Job Description
We are seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant - Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Sydney on a full-time or part-time basis.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants, working with and supporting individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries in the workplace.
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking vocational assessments
Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve outcomes beneficial for all parties
Supporting recovery and return to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, always prioritizing your client's best interests
Delivering targeted intervention strategies to enhance independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance
Understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes
Qualifications
Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and full ASORC Accreditation
Confidence in engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues, and employees
An inclusive attitude towards engaging with diverse cultural groups
Proven written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to high-quality customer service
Strong punctuality and time management skills
Willingness to travel; a current vehicle and driver's license are mandatory
