Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for permanent full-time local Team Members to join our Gas crew at Gepps Cross SA depot.Location: Gepps Cross SA depot4 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicantsResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality construction, fault response, and maintenance activities on gas mains and services throughout the gas distribution networks in the Adelaide area.Perform mains and services breakdowns, corrective maintenance and minor construction activitiesProvide reliable emergency response services during regular and after-hours operations to ensure a swift and effective resolution of issuesAssist with ordering and installing materials and quarry products as required to complete the allocated worksCarry out emergency maintenance to ensure the safe and continued supply of the distribution systemQualifications and ExperienceSite Proficient: Previous experience working within excavation, landscaping or outdoor work, with previous Gas, Civil or utilities experienceTechnically Proficient: Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform physically demanding tasksTeam Oriented: Ability to work effectively within a team with strong communication skills and a commitment to safetySite Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card (within the last 3 years).
MR, HR, MC or relevant Truck Licence (required).
Gas Test Atmosphere, Plumbing or Gas Fitter qualifications (desired).
Must be clean shaven.
