We've evolved Procurement to better leverage our spend with Comcast (combined spend $19bn) and across Sky markets.
This combined approach will enable our people to potentially work on projects relating to Comcast, NBCUniversal as well as Sky-specific matters.What you'll do :As Group Head of Procurement Corporate Services, you will be creating and leading the strategic sourcing direction within the Comcast Enterprise Procurement function which operates across Sky Group, Comcast and NBCU.
The role will involve managing the procurement team for Group Corporate Services and interaction with business units at a group level across the Sky Group and engaging with stakeholders in Comcast & NBCU.Corporate Services include the strategic procurement of Property & Facilities Management Services, Energy, HR Services, Group Insurance arrangements, and HR Rewards & Benefits – combined spend $230m.
The category is managed by a lean, cross-market team based in London, Milan, and Munich.
The team partners with business stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable solutions that support company growth, mitigate commercial and operational risk, and drive innovation through strategic supplier collaboration.
You will ensure all source-to-contract activities are executed effectively.Strategy – Create and lead strategic sourcing direction and bring leading edge procurement practices to help HR and Property teams deliver their transformational objectivesKey Initiatives – Ensure all source-to-contract activities across Corporate Services are executed effectively – delivery of $7m+ P&L savings per fiscal yearSupplier Relationship Management – Drive SRM for core strategic vendors, strengthening partnerships to drive innovation, manage risk, and optimize commercial and operational performanceRisk Management – Develop and execute a robust governance framework for core strategic vendors to proactively identify, and manage supplier, contractual, operational, and sustainability risks across Corporate ServicesBusiness Partnering – Relationship management with business leaders in HR and Property Services across Sky Group – trusted partnership with measurable procurement impactEnergy Innovation & Transformation – support Sky-wide programmes with Energy impact; implement new energy sources, fuels, systems and processesNet Zero agenda – partner with Supply Chain Sustainability team and stakeholders in Sky and Comcast to support the delivery of Sky's Net Zero commitmentPeople & Spaces Strategy – support Sky's programmes to build inclusive, future-ready workplaces, and culture where people can thriveTeam management – manage 4 FTEs across UK and ITA, supporting development and growth, and accountability to measure overall procurement objectives for the teamGroup Synergy – Build category and vendor strategies that will drive synergies across Sky Group and across Comcast and NBCUWhat you'll bring :Proven Procurement experience in relevant procurement categories (HR and/or Facilities and/or Energy Categories)Experience of working in a global / pan-European function, managing varying demands and needs within a single projectProven experience in effective supplier relationship management and procurement risk managementOpen to cross-category and cross-company collaboration and growth as part of a dynamic, enterprise-wide procurement functionHighly motivated professional with a proactive approachExcellent relationship building / management, negotiating skills, commercial acumen, organisational, presentational, prioritisation and project management skillsCreative thinking – initiative and enthusiasm in finding new sourcing approaches to balance operational and commercial pressuresAbility to put relevant structure around the decision-making process and ensure all options are understood in relation to the business requirementsAbility to manage a variety of projects and expectationsDisplay enthusiasm and self-motivation to overcome obstacles and demonstrate a positive approach in the face of difficulty whilst encouraging the same in othersThe rewards :There's one thing people can't stop talking about when it comes to #LifeAtSky : the perks.
