We are seeking Disability Support Workers to work with a client in Salisbury 4107.

**Employment Type**: Casual

**Experience**: Preferred but not essential

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to join a team and work with a client in Sailsbury 4107. We are looking specifically for workers that are fluent in Mandarin & English as the client is bilingual. This is a casual position and requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts in the afternoon, shift times varying between 1pm and 8pm.
- Needs to be able to communicate in both English and Mandarin
- Be physically fit
- Excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach
- Reliability and commitment to the client and to Elysian Support Services
- Prior experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs and/or behaviours of concern is highly desirable

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum certificate III, diploma or qualification in disability or relevant area such as aged care, community services, or health,
- Valid First Aid CPR Certificate
- Completion of the NDIS Modules - Worker Orientation & Infection Control (Covid-19)

**Other requirements for the role - you must have (or be able to obtain)**:

- The legal right to work in Australia,
- A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle & full comprehensive vehicle insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Blue & Yellow Cards
- Police clearance issued within the last 12 months
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination (2 Approved doses)

**Role duties may include (but are not limited to)**:

- Personal Care
- Teaching daily life skills
- Community Access
- Administering Medication
- Domestic duties - cleaning, cooking etc.

Employment terms and conditions will be set out in your contract and will be in line with, the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCAHDS) Award.
