About the Role:
The Territory Manager is responsible for the achievement of sales, profit, and focused growth targets in the Rural, Irrigation, Hardware, and OEM markets. You will spend most of your day on the road, visiting our customers on site building relationships and ensuring they receive quality customer service. Some overnight stays and travel may be required as needed. The role is located at Launceston site, but your base will be working from home.

We are looking for someone with a strong sales background with excellent customer service skills who is highly proactive, and sales driven. You will be flexible and adaptable and a strong team player who works hard and strives to achieve. Training and support will be provided, and you will be a part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities Include:

- Successfully achieve and contribute to allocated revenue budgets and focused growth targets.
- Develop and execute business plans for key customers and generate an effective customer contact plan.
- Identify growth opportunities and establish new accounts whilst using CRM software.
- Manage all customer service and product related issues and queries.
- Organise and conduct ongoing product training for customers and end users.
- Maintain existing and plan and install new merchandising systems for customers.
- Complete effective sales reporting, and report on competitor activity, industry trends, and general market intelligence within the territory.
- Manage and support national and regional promotional and marketing activities within the territory.
- Ensure customer inventory requirements and revenue projections are accurately forecasted and work with the regional sales team to ensure reduction of excess inventory is at agreed annual levels.

About You:

- 5+ years' experience in a similar role with experience in B2B sales.
- Ability to build strong relationships and provide an exceptional service to customers.
- Highly driven, creative and results oriented and willing to go the extra mile.
- Possess a high level of written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- High level of professional integrity.
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and training small-medium size groups.
- An understanding of hydraulic principles in relation to water movement.
- An understanding of Rural, Irrigation, Hardware, and OEM markets.
- Qualifications related to Rural &/or Irrigation industries or Business (Sales/Marketing), desirable.
