Sustainability Reporting Manager

About the role

Take a lead in the business on sustainability-related reporting and communications.

Ensure Perpetual is in compliance with global sustainability-related reporting and disclosure regulation.

Drive improvements in Perpetual's sustainability disclosure to meet regulatory and community expectations and maintain our reputation with our stakeholders.

In the role you will:
- Report to the Head of Sustainability and work alongside the Sustainability and Environment Manager and Sustainability and Modern Slavery Manager.- Lead the project management, data collection, drafting, approval and verification of the annual Sustainability Report.- Support climate-related reporting including CDP submission and Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) section in annual reporting.- Project manage Perpetual's input into the assurance process of selected sustainability KPIs by external assuror.- Support the development and drafting of Perpetual's next Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan.- Advise and provide oversight of new regulatory requirements including TCFD, EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements, EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Modern Slavery and Gender Pay Gap requirements.- Work with divisions across the Group to secure input and collaboration on sustainability related disclosure and communications.- Develop sustainability communications as part of regular comms calendar and to support the delivery of sustainability strategy,

About you- An experienced sustainability, ESG, reporting and communications professional.- Experience in project managing a sustainability report and drafting sustainability communications.- Knowledge of sustainability-related frameworks, standards, and regulation (US, UK and EU regulatory frameworks beneficial but not required).- Experience in engaging internal stakeholders on sustainability-related data collection and communications projects.- Ability to draft sustainability related copy and interpret data to create reports.
