Urbans is expanding and we are looking to fill multiple roles including**_ Arborists, Grounds Maintenance Staff, Gardeners, and Landscapers_** to service the growing needs of our Community Housing Clients.

**The ROLE**

The range of duties required to perform include:
**_ Grounds Maintenance Staff/Gardeners and Landscapers_**
- Garden maintenance and cultivation of garden areas using good horticultural principles and practices
- Mulching of garden beds
- Installation and maintenance of drip irrigation systems and pop-up sprinkler systems either manual or automated
- Lawn maintenance using push mowers, ride on/front deck mowers, and edging of lawn areas using line trimmers or lawn edgers
- Landscaping of complexes, including removal of existing gardens, lawns etc. and installation of new. Landscaping can vary from either just small driveway gardens or up to complete makeovers for large unit complexes, including new lawns, planting of trees shrubs and groundcovers for new gardens, irrigation systems, aggregate paths, community vegetable garden areas with raised planters and associated works

**_Arborists - Ground Crew, Climbers and Stump Grinders_**
- Pruning and removal of trees, shrubs, climbers etc. as per Australian Standards and good Arboricultural practice
- Works conducted at individual dwellings and unit complexes and may range from smaller simple jobs through to complex arboricultural maintenance pruning and removals

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**
- Qualification in Horticulture/Landscaping/Arboriculture or similar
- Experience in operation of a range of mowers and small plant, machinery, and equipment
- Driver's licence (MR favourable)
- Construction industry white card (or be willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug screen
- National Police clearance
- DSCI clearance
