Personal Care Attendant (PCA) for SRS in Kew (Melbourne, Victoria) for immediate start.
Permanent Part Time (may become Full Time).

Our Facility is an elegant majestic Victorian mansion home that combines modern comfort with quality and individualised care. It is a Supported Residential Service (SRS).
We are seeking energetic, experienced PCA to join our team to work in Kew, a vibrant residential area close to Melbourne's CBD.

This role involves:

- Provides personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle
- Administers medication safely according to policies and procedures. Accurately records medication administration
- Prepare meals for resident
- Records observations on relevant assessment charts and documents any observed exceptions to the care plan in the progress notes
- General housekeeping

To successfully join our team, you will need to have the following:

- A certificate lll in aged care (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Current National Police Check or willing to obtain one
- Proof of Current Flu and Covid Vaccination
- Medication-giving/assistance competency certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of person-centred care
- Experience with cooking / kitchen-hand (highly regarded)
- Aged care experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent documentation practice
- Flexible with shift hours & days (may be required to do sleepover shifts)
- Will consider junior-experienced PCA with the right learning attitude.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
