SkyCity is seeking a dedicated
Waste Attendant
to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and waste disposal across our kitchens and venues.
So, what does the role look like?
You will maintain an exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards for waste disposal across all kitchens and venues by regularly emptying and resetting bins according to the established schedule, monitoring and turning bins frequently to ensure cleanliness, and conducting thorough cleaning activities for all bins.
You will ensure accurate sorting and distribution of waste into appropriate bins while collaborating effectively with other SkyCity departments to maintain seamless operations.
You will participate in monthly Team Leader meetings to align with organisational goals, contribute to stocktake activities twice a year, and manage time efficiently to meet operational needs and deadlines.
You will also assist in creating and maintaining operational processes to enhance waste management practices.
You must have the ability to work full time hours.

You will demonstrate a strong commitment to hygiene and cleanliness, with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with multiple departments, and exhibit attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.
