We are part of the FTSE 30 and have about 125 years of history helping economies and communities flourish.What you'll need to bring to the role & ExperianEssential ExperienceWorking in an advisory, assurance or audit role, in the field of regulatory compliance (at least 2 years)Supporting risk assessments and advising internal stakeholders on remediationAssisting with the preparation of high-quality compliance reporting for internal stakeholdersDesirableKnowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand Privacy regulationExperience performing compliance-focused due diligence on clients and/or suppliersWork That Matters - What You'll Be DoingSupport the effective day-to-day operation of Experian's Compliance Management Programme in A/NZProvide advice to the business on the reporting, investigation and remediation of identified compliance risks and issuesSupport the practical implementation of new or updated Compliance-owned policies and standardsMaintain and improve local processes, tools and templates for day-to-day compliance (e.g., regulatory record-keeping)Perform Third Party Risk Management and Client Due Diligence activities, including review of cases escalated by 1LOD colleaguesUse Experian's Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system, Archer, to maintain an organised and accurate system of records including regulatory obligations and status of changesQualificationsYou Will HaveStrong organizational skills; ability to plan and prioritise effectivelyStrong stakeholder management skills; ability to build partnerships and act as a trusted advisorTeamwork and collaboration; willingness to share knowledge and support colleaguesCommercial thinking with ability to consider business goals when advising and recommending actionsHands-on approach and willingness to get involved as neededWhy this role is important to usThe Junior Compliance Officer will help embed Experian's Compliance Management Programme across the business and support its ongoing development, reporting to the Head of Compliance & Privacy A/NZ and collaborating with Compliance and Legal teams.Additional InformationExperian celebrates its people, focusing on DEI, work/life balance, development, authenticity, engagement, collaboration, wellness, reward and recognition.
