**The Opportunity**

The Workshop Manager plays a vital role in managing our vehicles, machines, and equipment to ensure they are safe for operation, cost-effective and meet the business's operational requirements. Our commercial competitiveness will be achieved through proper fleet maintenance, accurate record-keeping, excellent communication and forward planning.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely attendance of scheduled servicing, repairs and maintenance across our assets to avoid operational delays and reduce non-productive hours. The management of workshop personnel is critical to ensure productivity and instil safe work practices at all times

**Your role will include**:

- Implementing preventative Maintenance for all assets under your control.
- Direct reports
- Showing strong leadership, effective communication and implementing proper training so a consistent standard of reliability is achieved across the business.
- Forward plan (schedule) vehicles, machinery, and equipment as per recommended service intervals.
- Have a good understanding of budget vs actual machinery and vehicles.
- Communicate with management any issues that may impede the safety, reliability, or financially impact the business.
- Keeping the workshop and factory safe, clean, and free of any hazards.

**We love a positive, can-do attitude Along with this, you will need**:

- Mechanical Trade Certificate preferred.
- Experience with repair of equipment, vehicles, equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Ability to use tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Current and valid manual driver's licence
- Reliable, punctual, and hard working
