Specialising in the provision of standalone cleaning and security services or a tailored integrated solution, Assetlink support businesses to manage their assets and operations in the commercial, retail, aviation, health & aged care and mining sectors.

Based at Burnside Village Shopping Centre and reporting to the Services Manager this exciting Cleaning Supervisor position has become available for a professional and organised team member to work with one of Assetlink's clients. The role will be responsible for performing overall cleaning work on-site.

The Role

In this role, you will be provided on-site training to the existing team and will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, are passionate and have a strong desire to make a difference.

**Hours are as follows**: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervising the cleaning team members
- Supporting the Integrated Services Manager on staff-related matters.
- Provide effective leadership to cleaning personnel, including mentoring and training.
- Leading and inspiring team members to deliver superior guest experiences;
- Performing administrative functions, such as incident reporting, assisting with staff rosters, etc;
- Meet and exceed contract cleaning requirements.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with the client.
- Understand customer's security, environmental and safety requirements.
- Following Occupational Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Responding to general cleaning, periodical, preventative and emergency incidents or queries.

**To be considered for the position you must have the following**:

- A minimum of 6-12 months of experience in retail/commercial cleaning
- Previous experience supervising a team (preferred)
- Strong understanding of hard floor cleaning practices and related machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, including infection control.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to give direction and instruction to people.
- Ability to multi-task, be flexible and work under pressure.
- Consistent attention to detail.
