- **Remuneration**: $25.29 - $27.15 p/h + 10.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances (+ 23% casual loading for casual positions).

**Your part in The Wesley Hospital team**
- As a Kitchen Hand at The Wesley Hospital, you will support the day-to-day operation of the main kitchen through food preparation, dishwashing and other basic food service functions.- Performing a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment, you will work efficiently to maintain adequate levels of clean equipment, utensils and crockery and Assist the Chefs in measuring, portioning and organising ingredients of meals, in order to provide our customers with a high-quality hospitality experience.**What makes a difference for us?**
- You will demonstrate:
- Entry level food safety for the Health & Community sector
- Previous Kitchen Hand experience in a food service health or hospitality team environment preferred
- Excellent time management skills
- Availability to work cross across a roster spanning Monday to Sunday (inclusive), between the hours of 5:30am and 9:30pm, on a 7-day rotating roster
- We will be offering casual or permanent part-time (8 hrs p/w) contracts. However, there will be regular opportunities to flex up if desired.**Minimum physical requirements**:

- This role requires a degree of physical fitness as you will be working on your feet all day. This may include lifting kitchen equipment and/or pushing heavy trolleys throughout the kitchen and hospital environment:
- Walking/standing - Constantly (67-100%)
- Ability to push heavy trolleys - Frequently (34-66%)
- Ability to lift and carry trays (5-9kg) - Frequently (34-66%)
