Base pay range
A$500.00/daily - A$560.00/daily
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Solution Architect / Senior Consultant to play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and optimising SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions.
This role is ideal for a professional who combines strategic advisory capability with hands-on technical expertise.
The role is a 12 month contract paying $560 per day plus super.

Key ResponsibilitiesOur client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Solution Architect / Senior Consultant to play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and optimising SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Support the design and delivery of scalable, modular, and cloud-native applications using CAPM with Node.js, Java, and SQL.
Provide strategic direction on SAP BTP architecture, design, and implementation, aligning to clean core principles.
Lead and support SAP BTP activities including CAPM, Build Work Zone, Mobile Start, and MDK.
Define and enforce architecture governance standards, best practices, and development guidelines for BTP projects.
Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
Perform design and code reviews, unit testing, integration, and UAT support.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Stay ahead of the curve by adopting the latest SAP technologies and BTP innovations.
Provide mentorship and upskilling to internal teams, including developing and delivering training materials.
Contribute to business growth by identifying and driving new opportunities in the BTP space.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
8+ years of SAP development experience, including at least 2 years in CAPM.
Strong understanding of SAP clean core principles.
Blend of advisory expertise and hands-on delivery.
Proven experience in Fiori/UI5 development and integration.
Knowledge of at least one functional module such as SD, MM, FICO, EAM, PS, ISU.
Expertise in Fiori, BTP, and 3rd-party integrations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
SAP certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Development Associate - CAPM, SAP Certified Professional - Solution Architect - BTP) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Broad expertise spanning Cloud Application Programming, Full Stack Development, Fiori Development, and JavaScript.
End-to-end capability - from concept to code - with a proven track record of delivering innovative SAP solutions.
