**About the Program**:
We're a bit different to other internships in that we aren't only offered over summer or winter breaks. Our paid program offers you the flexibility of being able to gain valuable work experience without sacrificing your studies.
In 2025 we're launching a new 12 month stream in our program which will be focused on developing our sales teams of the future. Our Digital Hub team is one of the leading and most innovative teams in the company, aimed at delivering exceptional customer experiences in a scalable, speedy, and personalised fashion. Most importantly, helping more customers run better ultimately translates into a safer, cleaner, more connected, better enabled, and more equal world. This team drives digital and high quality engagement with potential customers delivering superior customer experience.
During which time you will gain experience in different areas of our Digital Hub. You'll have a dedicated STAR manager to support your personal development and a rotational mentor to guide you as you learn the ropes in each team. You will also have a STAR student mentor to help you find your way around and show you the best bits of the office
**So how does it work?**
The STAR Program is the part time job that gives you a competitive advantage over other students when you graduate, looks great on your LinkedIn profile and provides experience learning soft skills such as:
- Networking
- Customer facing communication
- Internal presentations
- Job shadowing
- Project management
- Time management
**In this role as a STAR student, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Experience different aspects of our business, often via rotations in different areas of our broader Digital Hub team
- Receive on-the-job structured development, coaching and mentoring and have the opportunity to interact with managers, leaders, and Executives from the Leadership team.
- Work on a part-time basis during the academic year with an option to work full-time over the semester break - all paid of course
- Earn academic credit from accredited programs at your university for your experience.
- Gain hands-on practical work experience and start building your professional network and career early.
**What you'll do: (ROLE)**
- Position title: STAR (Student Training and Rotation) Digital Hub Program Intern (VT/STAR) - Sydney
- Location: Sydney, Australia
- Expected start date and duration: Late January 2025 for minimum 12 months duration
**Who you are: (Requirements)**
We're looking for University Students who are self-motivated, have initiative, perseverance, and the hunger to stay curious.
- Currently studying perhaps in business or commerce but other academic backgrounds are very welcome
- Finishing their studies no earlier than end of 2025
- Able to work at least 2 days per week during semester (3 days preferred)
- High calibre, self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills in English
- Displaying a very positive, 'can do' attitude to make things happen and have a willingness to learn fast
- Problem-solvers who are ambitious, passionate, resilient, proactive, open-minded, and able to manage pressure
- Able to take onboard instructions, prioritise work, be a good listener, empathetic, collaborative, and team-oriented
- Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia and/or New Zealand.
