We bring trust and resilience to key industries including finance, health, retail and manufacturing, as well as vital sectors such as aerospace, critical infrastructure, defence and space.About the RoleThales Cyber Premium Services (CPS) is seeking a highly motivated Network Manager to lead the Network services team for Cloud.As part of the wider Infrastructure Operations group, you will manage the network architecture and engineering teams, while partnering closely with other tech teams in the Cloud division.
This role is key to the daily operational management of delivering services within the MSP environment.The role is based in Sydney and is open to Australian Citizens who can obtain security clearance.Some key responsibilities of the role will include :Leading Network Architects and Engineers from the early design stages, project deployment and ongoing operations including any break fixManaging customers on a mix of Multi Cloud Networking Platforms (Private and Public Cloud)Effective remote resource management, with Network staff currently located across Australia and other international locationsAbout YouWith technical expertise and sound experience in Networking, you will ideally bring with you :3-5 years demonstrated experience in a Networking team people leadership roleStrong technical background within complex IT networkingExperience managing Network technology vendors, and exposure to Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, MerakiExposure to multi-vendor telco carriage servicesUnderstanding of Software-Defined Networking and SD-WAN technologiesKnowledge of networking security (NGFW, SIEM, WAF etc)Advanced routing and switching technologies (multi-vendor) and wireless networking technologies skillsExperience in both Private and Public Cloud networking (VMware, Azure and AWS)Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively consult with customers and internal stakeholdersHighly consultative approach to challenges and solutioningSound judgment and independent decision makingHigh level of coachability and curiosity to continue learningExceptional ability to prioritise in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentThe following technical competencies will be highly regarded :Exposure and experience with VMware NSXCompute and Storage experienceDegree or equivalent qualification in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical fieldBenefits and rewardsSalary in line with industry standardsOpportunities to undertake technical training, secure industry recognised certifications, attend industry eventsRole provides an excellent opportunity to work in a productive team that continues to have exceptional successThales operates a flexible policy in relation to working from home and will require office attendance at the primary work location in the Barangaroo office in SydneyThis is a highly rewarding role with scope to contribute meaningfully to the organisation while providing an excellent career path with one of the leading MSP's in the Cloud services space.With a supportive management structure and a great work / life balance which offers flexible work arrangements, you will find the organisational culture both positive and rewarding.LI-PG1It's easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don't see yourself as the perfect fit.
