We are currently seeking a **qualified Therapy Assistant** to join our supportive team at **Bethanie Geneff**.

This role is currently being offered on a **Permanent Part-time basis**, **working 65 hours per fortnight**, **Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm.**

Bethanie Geneff is one of our smaller locations, with 38 beds and just a short walk from the Stirling Station and Westfield Innaloo. Geneff offers a supportive approach to staff and residents, encouraging residents to live the life they want to, and for staff to grow and progress their careers if they choose.

We are looking for someone with a passion for working with people of all abilities and backgrounds. Our Therapy Assistants have an enthusiastic and creative approach to their work and are able to support our residents' strengths and interests.

**About the Role**:

- Implement therapy and lifestyle programs for groups and individual residents
- Adapt activities to resident's level of function under the guidance of a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Address physical and psychological needs and provide opportunities for meaningful engagement for residents
- Maintain accurate documentation, both paper and computer based

**About You**:

- Certificate III (or equivalent) in Allied Health Assistance
- Previous experience in a Therapy Assistant role, ideally in an aged care environment
- _In addition, a Certificate III in_ _Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) would also be desirable_
- Ability to confidently communicate with care recipients and Bethanie staff
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
- Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills with a strong attention to detail
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Current police clearance, or willingness to obtain one
