Based in North Sydney in awesome offices overlooking Sydney Harbour

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper and payroll officer to join a boutique recruitment agency based in North Sydney.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Payroll including onboarding new employees, processing, adjustments, employee enquiries, employee entitlement management and quarterly lodgement of super
- Owning and understanding awards
- Recording transactions and journal entries accurately
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Identifying and recording accrued expenses
- Liaising with clients for Accounts Receivable payments

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Minimum 1 years' experience in bookkeeping/accounting
- Previous experience in recruitment/HR would be advantageous
- Comprehensive skills in Xero and MYOB
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Positive 'can do' approach, friendly, and passionate about helping others
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- An understanding of basic accounting functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in using Microsoft Excel

We are looking for someone available for an immediate start, working holiday visa holders are welcome to apply.
