Casual coding role working remotely across Calvary Private hospitals
About the role

This is a casual coding role based remotely to support the Calvary Private Hospitals meet their coding KPIs. This position is in the National Revenue Team, working with a team of coders.

**Your main duties will include**:
Coding episodes for Private Hospitals and Public hospitals across the Calvary group
Participating in documentation improvement and revenue optimisation activities
Participation in coding audit activities as required
About you
Recognised Clinical Coding qualification or Degree qualified in Health Information Management/Medical Record Administration or equivalent competency through clinical coding experience
Experience and demonstrated competency in Clinical Coding using ICD-10-AM Classification system across a broad casemix for a period of at least 2 years is essential and experience in a Hospital or health care setting is desirable
Flexibility and ability to work across a variety of shifts
Ability to work unsupervised
